Tirupati Plastomatics
Background

Precision engineering, end to end.

Wire drawing to final dispatch — every step happens in-house, on advanced lines, under continuous PLC control and NABL-accredited testing.

Unit I — LV & Control Cables

Dedicated production lines for LT PVC / XLPE power and control cables up to 1.1 kV.

Unit II — MV & Specialty

Medium voltage power cables, instrumentation and fire-survival cable manufacturing.

Unit III — E-Beam Facility

Electron-beam crosslinking plant for radiation-cured cables and high-temperature insulation.

Lines engineered for repeatable quality.

CCV Lines

Continuous catenary vulcanizing for MV XLPE insulation.

Triple Extrusion

Single-step inner-screen / insulation / outer-screen extrusion.

Rigid Strander

Up to 127-wire rigid stranding for large conductors.

E-Beam Accelerator

Radiation crosslinking for high-thermal endurance.

PLC Process Control

Computerized monitoring of every extrusion parameter.

Armouring & Sheathing

GI wire / GI strip armouring with PVC and HFFR sheathing.

From copper rod to dispatched drum — eight controlled stages.

01
STEP 01

Wire Drawing

EC grade copper / aluminium rod is drawn to precise conductor sizes.

02
STEP 02

Annealing & Bunching

Conductors are softened and bunched per IS 8130 / IEC 60228.

03
STEP 03

Insulation Extrusion

PVC, XLPE or E-beam compounds extruded under PLC control.

04
STEP 04

Laying-Up

Cores are assembled with fillers and binder tape for true round form.

05
STEP 05

Armouring

GI wire / strip armour applied for mechanical protection.

06
STEP 06

Outer Sheathing

Final PVC / HFFR / FRLS sheath extruded and marked.

07
STEP 07

Testing

100% routine electrical and dimensional testing in NABL lab.

08
STEP 08

Packing & Dispatch

Wooden drum packing with drum schedule and dispatch tracking.

E-Beam crosslinking

Radiation crosslinking for extreme conditions.

Our dedicated electron-beam facility crosslinks insulation at the molecular level — delivering superior thermal endurance, mechanical strength and chemical resistance for railway, defence and renewable applications.

  • Continuous operating temperature up to 125 °C
  • Improved abrasion and cut-through resistance
  • Low smoke, zero halogen variants available
  • RDSO-approved for Indian Railways rolling stock
In-house NABL Laboratory

Every batch. Every test. Documented.

Our NABL-accredited laboratory performs 100% routine, type and acceptance tests in line with IS, IEC, BS, NFC and DIN standards — the same standards governing the world's most demanding utility and infrastructure projects.

Research & Development

Our R&D team develops custom formulations for fire-survival, low-smoke and high-temperature cables — partnering with clients to engineer cables for emerging applications in solar, metro and defence.

Quality Assurance

Zero-defect philosophy enforced through incoming raw-material checks, in-process audits, final routine tests and third-party witness testing for every export consignment.
