Cross-link without chemical catalysts.

The electron-beam process bombards the insulation and sheathing layers with high-energy electrons that create lasting molecular cross-links. The result: a thermoset polymer that no longer melts, with markedly improved thermal, mechanical and chemical performance — and without the residue or by-products of conventional chemical curing.
